My Pool: 20x40 inground

New pool

Postby Jsewa » Mon 05 Sep, 2016 18:30

We just had a 20x40 8' deep end installed. First swim was today. Everything is great but at the deepest part of pool the bottom 6" or so is VERY warm and was that way all day. Im a noobie with pools. Is this normal and may be causing it. It really doesn't affect a thing but i just thought it was odd. Its a steel pool, concrete bottom, vinyl liner, salt water.....thanks

Very strange as hot water rises unless the concrete base is still curing and giving off heat
I wouldn't worry about it

How come it so warm at the bottom? I am also a new pool owner. Do we have to take any precautions?

I wouldn't worry about it as hot water rises
The only thing that could cause it is the new concrete base is still curing and giving off heat

It may be because of the concrete base.
