Bleach in a pool with no pump?

I have a 555 gallon above ground fast set pool. My question is: can I use the BBB method without a pump and filter? Or am I stuck dumping and filling it ever 4-5 days?

Or can I just use a few teaspoons of 6% laundry bleach to keep it from becoming slimy?

You will need 3.5 oz of 6% bleach to raise from zero to 3ppm
