CO2 for Lowering ph

Postby Bullseye45 » Fri 17 Jan, 2020 22:50

I’ve decided to give CO2 a try for lowering a continuous rise in ph due to the use of a chlorine generator in a salt pool.
Question
Can I introduce the CO2 on the suction side of the pump? It will be injected at a very low rate so as not to cause cavitation at the pump.

I'm not familiar with that method of reducing pH, however I would be inclined to add it on the return after the SWCG to minimise any unwanted interaction.
