10' x 30 Intex Easy Set Pool

Hello!
I am brand new to owning a pool so forgive me for any dumb questions.

I have a 10' x 30 Intex Easy Set above ground Pool. It came with a filter and hoses for a pump.

1. Can I get away with not using a pump and just using chemicals and a net? Or is the pump necessary?

2. What chemicals/products do I all need and how do i use them?

3. Testing kits? I'm new to these. What all needs to be tested? Which testing kit is best?
