I have a 14ft x 3ft above ground pool of 3,500 gallons. The filtration system is a 600gph skimmer and output side mounted. The problem I'm having is if anything (dirt, dead algae or anything small) settles on the bottom the filter will never clean it. I know I need to manually clean it, I have a vacuum that uses a garden hose but the bag is meant for leaves anything small simply blows through it to become cloudy and settle again later.
The vaccums I've found that commect to the filter system seem to all require connecting a hose to the suction which I cant do with a skimmer and they require 1,000 or 1,500+gph. What options are there to manual vacuum and clean micro debris for someone with this setup? I found some battery powered water tech stuff but I'm
Worried their filter will just let it pass through also.
Manually cleaning with weak filter?
