HI my easy set pool is driving me crazyt. its only a 1000 gallon pool and I keep geeting algae. if I add the chlorine than it gets cloudy. ANy help would be great

Have you tried an Algeacide? It should do the trick.

Hi, I used one of the larger 18 foot by 4 foot pools for approximately 3 years before getting my regular above ground pool. It is important that the filter be kept clean -- on mine I cleaned the filter on a minimum of 2 or 3 times a week because we used it a lot. I would take the cartridge out and spray it until the thing was clean and approximately every 2 weeks would replace it with a new filter as they tend to wear out. These pools need chemicals used in them just like other pools (funny but some people think these pools don't need them). On another forum a user suggested using some DE (don't know the amount) in the filter to catch the smaller stuff.
