We are waiting on the electric to start the pump and salt chlorination. In the meantime while I wait, I have already added bleach (thinking electric would be happening sooner) and want to be ready to swim as soon as we have electric.
Should I wait and add salt directly to pool once the pump is on so it can go through a cycle and and the start of chlorination?
I am confused with the the steps to get ready once we get power.
In-ground 14x32 (14k gallon water)
Thanks.
New in ground owner - no electric can I add salt or wait?

Add the salt when you want to however bleach will sanitise your pool well but get some CYA in to stabilise your chlorine
