Back story. Pool looked like a pond when cover came off. Who knew they made pool covers with holes in the center! (Obviously not me, lesson learned!)
Water is now blue and I can see about half way down but then it is super cloudy. All chemicals were in balance as of Saturday morning (pH, chlorine, total chlorine, alk, hardness and CyA) I finished adding water and then added liquid shock (16 oz) per instructions on bottle. Nothing happened, literally nothing except I have a bunch of bugs on the surface and now my chemical levels are off because it was super hot and sunny Saturday and yesterday (95*) and today was cool, raining and cloudy (70*).
Pool is 26' round and 52" high (probably have about 50" water)
Please help me! I am about ready to cut a hole in it and be done.
