Hi,
I have a 12ft pool and I have done a dip test and cannot raise the chlorine from very low after adding 50g of chlorine granules. Ph and alkalinity were also very low so I used 50g on ph increaser which sent the alkalinity to too high but still level the pH and chlorine reading as very low. I have used 50g of pH minus which has taken the alkalinity back down to low, but chlorine and pH are still very low. I have now added a further 50g of chlorine granules but all readings are still low.
Can dip stick tests provide inaccurate results. What am I doing wrong.

Re: Cannot raise levels
What type of test are you using for the chlorine test? Is it a drop type test or a color match type?
