Please help me start my pool

I just bought a pool from walmart its an intex or something like that. its 3 and half feet deep and 16 feet around we got it all set up exact putting the chlorine and chemicals and such in, the only problem is Im completley clueless as to how much chlorine I need to add to start the pool and how often, and when I do am I supposed to be testing the ph and stuff right after or how long do I wait...can someone PLEASE help me!!!!
