New Pool Purchase

Hello,
Im new to the forum. Our family is looking to buy an abouve ground pool due to location and water table. I live in the Charleston S.C. area. I want to make a wise decision on my purchase. What are a few things that I should look for? Types of liners, warenties, manufactures, ect... What is the life span for a liner? Construction material?
Any help would be great.
