The house next to us is vacant and has been for over 30days. Bank says it will stay vacant at least through the summer. I have been given permission to watch the house and use the pool at my cost.
So we are looking at the cheapest way to get the pool going since its not ours. I dropped in a electric water pump and pumped out most of the green nasty water at the bottom. Still about 15-20 gallons left when pump quit on me. I also hosed down the walls and scrubed with a broom.
What is the best way to get the remaining water out?
Also where do I go from here? I know nothing about pools.
There is a white plastic looking drain at the bottom?
I did turn off the switch near the pump since it was running the motor? I think and there was no water in the pool.
I would like to finish cleaning it and get new water in the pool before the water at the house is shut off.
aNY HElp appreciated?
Thanks!
