Hi,

Generally when the pool is really dirty and you are trying to clear it you run the filter 24/7. When the pool is clear there is no set time to run it. Depends on bath load and how much debris you get in the pool and time of year.

I run mine just enough to keep the pool clean. Varies from 4 to 12 hours a day.

Put your valve on filter. 4-8 hours per day in the winter and 12 hours in the summer. Dirty, run it 24/7.
