Heater Problem?

I have a Hayward gas heater. The "Service" light is on and it's flashing the code "LO" and "60". What is this?

The heater seems to still work. Everything's controlled by a panel inside the house.

If I push the "Stand By" button on the heater, the service light goes off. If I push "Spa" or "pool" buttons on the heater the service light comes on along with these codes.

Please help....

ok a LO code can indicate one of several issues:

1) A water pressure switch fault
2)A temp limit switch fault
3)A vent pressure switch fault

The fixes may range anywhere to just emptying your pump baskets and cleaning your filter to checking for faulty connections for all the switches mentioned above. In the extreme case you many need to replace the defective switch all together once its identified.

I would start with making sure you're getting proper water flow. Check pumps and filters for correct operation. Check all valves, make sure they are not restricting any flow. Make sure pressure is adequate by checking gauge on filter. If all that is ok proceed to checking connections on each of the switches. The manual that came with the heater should provide you with an accurate diagram of where all the switches I mentioned above are.
