Pool replaster and retiling

Postby bsmaltz » Mon 23 Jul, 2018 16:01

Hello, I am new to this group. I have been researching options for pool remodel. We have a gunite pool that is 23 years old. We have never resurfaced the pool. Tiles are popping off too. I believe the most economical remodel would be white plaster and tile. Any thoughts on tinted plaster? I have googled and come across pros and cons of tinting. I would prefer to keep the job under 10k. We aren't adding any new features just updating and new plaster. Thanks for the input! :D

I think upgrading by quartz can extend the pool "life" and it will surve longer, but it may be also be expensive

White plaster looks very simple while tinted plaster gives nice finish. It is also not very expensive. But the colour might fade over time.
