In ground pool wall panels rising; Repair options?

Hi,
I have an old 16X32 rectangular in ground pool that came with the house when I purchased 5 years ago. I'm assuming the pool is pretty old. The coping along one wall is bending inwards and upon closer inspection it looks like the pool wall frame is rising out of the ground about 2". What could be the cause of this and can it be fixed without replacing the entire pool? I'm gonna try to attach a photo.
