Hi guys,
I hope someone can help/suggest me what to do to fix my pool deck.
A couple of years ago I bought an house with a fibreglass pool built in 2008.
Everything is fine except for 4 concrete slabs that are sinking towards the forest.
Who built and installed the deck was not the smartest and capable person on earth. In fact, the concrete slabs were posed on some garden bricks.
Here are some pictures that I hope will make you better understand the issue:

In the last 2 years I contacted at least 15+ companies (levelling, landscaping, concrete and pool companies), each had its own idea and cost.
Most of the time they wanted to rebuild everything (cost >$60K, which I cannot afford at the moment).
A couple of concrete lifting companies (they were not interested in the project because it was too small for them) suggested me to buy a couple of truck jacks and slowly try to lift the slabs and put metal posts underneath.
I'm not sure if this suggestion is feasible.
Do you think it can be fixed?
I live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), if you know someone that could help me, I will appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for any help

Re: Concrete pool deck issue
Hmm, the blocks by themselves are fine but the builder should have prepared a concrete footing underneath. I dont know what services are available to you but they can repair roads, runways and subsidence by injecting a hard foam these days.

I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.

Thanks for your response.
I contact one of these lifting company.
Here is their report:
Specifications
Basic steps as per standard installation procedure for practical recovery:
1) Layout and mark injections, drill 5/8" holes through slab and install injection ports.
2) Provide relief cuts where necessary to allow for movement and to prevent binding.
3) Inject Polylevel material at rates necessary to fill voids, stabilize and/or lift slabs as necessary.
4) Monitor slab movement during installation to ensure slab stabilization and accurate lifting.
Contractor Will
1.) Attempt to restore slab to its original position, but is not responsible for cosmetic damage that may result. (Achieving lift is not guaranteed)
The cost was reasonable (~$2K) but the lift was not guaranteed.
Also, all other companies which I contacted suggested me to stay away from this kind of lifting for two reasons:
1) The polymer/foam pressure could damage the fibreglass pool.
2) The polymer/foam will create a mess in the pool collar.
Also, the lifting was not guaranteed (the contractor was pretty confident about the fact the lifting was not achievable).

Re: Concrete pool deck issue
Understandable, so you are now left with three options, leave it or excavate and prepare proper footing. Or add another course of blocks when it moves sufficiently.
