Poured Concrete Coping- Need help with finishes

We are remodeling the whole pool and the contractorr suggested a poured concrete coping to fit our budget. He framed the coping area and is ready to pour but we were not really happy with the roughness of the exposed aggrogate sample he made us. Does anyone know what other types of finishes we could consider.


We were hoping for something attractive and not too slippery but also not uncomforable to hands and feet.

BTW we will have a stamped concrete deck and pebble finish bottom
