An indoor fresh water pool, 15m x 3m x 1.5m, ceramic-tiled (mesh-backed, epoxy-grouted) with a retractable cover, kept at 29C (84F). It is 4 years old.

One side of the pool developed "blisters" with the tiles lifting in irregular areas up to 10"x10" each. There is no pipework in the 10" thick wall, which is freestanding.

What is the cause of the tiles lifting? How do I solve it?
