15 x 30 above ground pool failure

Hello,

My pool has three metal straps running between the outriggers. Each strap is secured to a rectangular plate on each end with two 1/4 - 20 screws. Two of these screws sheared off and we had a catastrophic liner failure. I want to repair the pool and would like to know what I can do to try to make sure this doesn't happen again.
