aluminium frame pool enclosure
Our telescopic pool enclosure is a framework of glass sides with a polycarbonate roof which are secured in place with aluminium beading which appears to be of a snap in fixing. What is the best way to remove the beading to remove a panel as it's not easy to prise the beading off without damaging the soft aluminium? Many thanks for any help

Re: aluminium frame pool enclosure
I have a similar telescopic pool enclosure and haven't needed to remove any roof panels
From what I can remember you need a blunt scraper to knock it out in the middle and form a slight bend to remove from the corners
The best person to ask is a double glazing fitter as they have the sme problem

Re: aluminium frame pool enclosure
Thankyou for the reply Dennis, when a glass panel shattered and needed replacing that was the method a glazier used however because the glass had been removed there was a bit more play in the beading allowing it to be prised off.I will make further enquires down the line you suggested, many thanks
