Overflow pool gutter

Hello hope everyone is doing well.

I wanted to ask if it is possible to make an overflow pool with the gutter always being full to keep it hidden giving it an infinity edge pool look.
i never liked it when i could see the gutters grill its not aesthetically appealing.

You could make a long slot between tiles rather than use a grill.

The problem is we don't have that available where I'm from. I live in Ghana and the standard and used system here is the normal grilled gutter. That's why I'm trying to find a work around.
