concrete pad for above ground pool

Postby grnnysews54 » Mon 26 Mar, 2007 08:55

We are getting ready to have a 24' x 52" deep round above ground pool put in. My dh wants to have a 6" concrete pad poured first. I think 4" would be enough. Any suggestions? Thanks.

use rebar if you attempt 4", but 6" (with rebar) should be used

don't pour 4" without reinforcement!

Check pool and liner warranties.

I've heard that putting an a/g on a concrete pad is often a "no-no" on these.

HTH!
