New home - new patio - options for pool coping

Greetings,

I am buying a new home in less than a month. During home inspection i noticed the patio was cracking, and graded towards the home, and the concrete pool deck had sunk away from the pool.

The home owner agreed to cover a substantial portion of the repair which includes ripping up entire patio and pool deck and doing stamped concrete, but one issue i have is the pool has a quite ugly white capping around the top. What are my options dealing with this? Can this be removed and have a concrete coping applied without having to replace the entire liner (which is relatively new with a 15 year warranty)
