Brand new pool, water level dropped quickly

The liner was just installed on our brand new Inground pool on Friday and it completed filling this morning around 9am. I noticed around 4pm the level of the water line had dropped about 2 inches. I wanted to be sure this was actually happening so I refilled the pool crack to it’s original line. 2 hours later it seemed to have dropped about an inch again. Please tell me my brand new liner is not leaking.

Is this a new installation or refurb
It could be pipework or fittings that's leaking (there is a leak round my light fitting)
Get the installers back to block off the Skimmer, returns and the main drain if you have one to test out

Then it isn't your problem, get the installers back to rectify it
