fiberglass faded

I have a blue fiberglass inground pool that has faded or has been bleached out below the water line. Is there a way to restore the glass back to the original color? I plan to drain the pool next week so I thought it would be a good time to address the problem.

Also is there anything I should be concerned about before I drain the pool, I just bought the house and have never drained a pool before.

Not sure you can do anything about the fading now. As for draining the pool you need to be careful not to pop the pool out of the ground once it is empty and I don't think you have a main drain so you can't even pull the plug on the main drain to try and equalize the pool and the ground water. Your taking a huge risk
