building a concrete pool

Postby billbecker » Sun 28 Sep, 2008 13:36

I'm building a inground pool. It's a 12' and 16' circle overlapped with a maximum depth of 5'-3". I live in southeast Colorado. The sub-base is sand. I will place 3/8 and 1/2 rebar every 8" OC. I will pour the floor then the walls. Next I will plaser. Unfortunatly I don't have any expert help avaliable. I very familiar with concrete, and the company I work for has poured several 20' x20' x 8' lift stations for our city's water department. I plan on tackling it the same way, but I will install a main drain with several returns.
Can you please give advice, tips, or a website that I can follow to avoid any major complications?
