Need new filter

Postby csheafer » Thu 26 Feb, 2009 10:00

My sand filter is cracked from not closing the pool in time last year and need a new one.

Can I get the filter itself without the top, the bottom or the guts?

It is a Tagelus® Top Mount Filter with ClearPro Technology®
Product Model Effective Filtrtation Area (Sq Ft) Flow Rate (GPM)
145241 TA 60D 3.1 60 28,800 36,000 43,200 325 1 30

Where or how can I buy the tank alone?

You SHOULD be able to, need to check with local dealer. Is it worth it? You would need to THOROUGHLY check the dial valve and internals for any signs of wear/damage/cracking etc. On top of that a quick look at a parts catalog shows the tank/foot assembly only costs more than a complete filter. Ever seen an estimate to buy your car in parts?
