Under a aboveground pool?

Postby thasatelliteguy » Sun 14 Mar, 2010 20:43

What should I do to set up my above ground pool? I have a reg grass yard. Should I put a large tarp? Will it come with a liner in the kit? I see some people put down a sand base, but I'm not sure I want to do that.

The surface that you put your above ground pool on needs to be absolutely flat and level to avoid future problems. Most pool manufatures recommend putting a layer of plastic or similar material between your pool and the ground. They also almost ALWAYS recomment a layer or damp earth or pre-washed sand under your liner. You will also definately need some form of padding. I would check with your pool's manufaturer before making a final decision.
