Buried, above ground pools?? Good or Bad?

Postby gjo154 » Wed 30 Jun, 2010 17:35

Hello all, I am currently researching purchasing a pool for my property. Like many others, especially in these hard economic times, regular in-ground pools are too expensive for my budget. A friend of mine heard that there is a new solution to this problem, "A buried, above ground pool" (specifically, "Doughboy" Buried Pools) I have done a little research on this but, i would love to hear from anyone who has put one in. Is it safe, strong, and worth doing? I've seen pictures on line and I gotta tell ya, they look pretty good. My other question is can you apply a "salt" filtration system to one of these pools? If anyone has any useful info on this topic, I'd appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.
