Problem: I opened the pool about a week ago. It was pretty nasty and green, but the green went away after adding an Rx Clear opening kit and a lot of vacuuming. However, it's been cloudy for a week now. One issue is that my CYA is still at 0 even after adding 4 pounds of stabilizer. I'm also having continuous white film appearing, as shown in the photos. It has a little bit of brown color as well when clumped together. I've been very diligent with vacuuming, backwashing, etc. though I can't see the bottom of the pool so not sure if I'm missing any areas when vacuuming. Details of latest test are below. Any help would be appreciated. Maybe just a waiting game?

Sorry lost my reply to this awful forum software.
Stop wasting money on Rx kits, get back to real pool maintenance with a proper test kit not those strips. The white film is probably undisolved stabiliser.
Algaecide in pools is an industry con, thats why there isnt a test kit for algaecide. Algaecide helps use up your chlorine so you buy more.

I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
