high psi poor suction

[new pool owner]

I have really high psi about (27-30) and really poor suction. I Have a hayward filter and pump. It did this after I drained and refilled the pool.

I have the same problem and I suspect an air leak. Did you resolve your your problem ansd if so what was it? Thanks!
