Algae,shocked now cloudy

Had a terrible problem with algae for weeks. Green, unable to swim. Followed advice from pool company no better. Decided to do something on my own. Used bleach and next morning water is blue but cloudy and ph and chlorine is off the charts. Now what do I do? Will the cholrine stabilize by itself? Do I run the pump 24/7? Please help we have not been able to swim in 3 weeks.

check your TA, and free chlorine. if you're using bleach to shock, you might get high pH, so you might want to have dry acid to lower your pH.

after shock, you'll get coudy because of the dead algae, use floc then vacuum it.
