used flocculant, now can't clear my water

The initial problem was that a neighbor had a tree taken down and a lot of saw dust ended up in the pool.

Pool store guy said try a flocculant, then vacuum it up in a day or two.

Overnight the water went from milky yuck to crystal clear BUT with this green clown on the bottom of the pool. When I go to vacuum it, it starts to scatter back into the water.

Now, I just can't get my water clear. The guy said clean your filter and try more flocculant, again...crystal clear water and a big green cloud on the bottom of the pool.

Could this actually be an algae problem? How do I get my water clear again? The pool guy has been no help.

I have been there. what I did for This place I do was to get a pump,suck it out to the yard or ground,than vacuumm and do a back wash. this should do it,when do add 1oz per 5000gals of super clearifier.If your pool is say 20,000 gals add 16os,and go from there,add 1lb of shock per 10000 gals or till you get to 2.5 or 3.0 ppms. if you need more on this E-Mail me at mhume7@aol.com
