cloudy, light green water

Our pool has been open for almost two weeks now and we have had the water improved somewhat but remains light green and cloudy. We have lowered the ph, shocked extensively, used algecide, used water clairifier and vacumed, all to no avail...
Now what. We have filtered for 24/7 using a system with paper accordian pleated filters. We have never had this problem and are getting very discouraged.

I have this problem too. I have tried many things to get the water balanced but nothing seems to work. I finally added 4 gallons of chlorine bleach and baking soda. This helped with my levels but I still have cloudy, green water. I thought if my ph and chlorine was right my water would become clear! Guess I was wrong! Any suggestions would be helpful![/b]

It's either not been shocked high enough or it is metals in your water.
