clumps of fine particles at bottom of above ground pool

I have an above ground pool using an AquaDroid vacuum. Having small clumps of fine particles forming at bottom of pool. Everytime I vacuum pool fine particles from clumps disperse throughout pool. I have a Hayward Cartrige filter. Just replaced filter this year. Everytime I go to clean filter color id light brown mud color?? What can I do??
