Don't forget that Muratic acid lowers pH as well so you should aerate up to about 7.8 and then calculate how much acid to reduce to 7.2 then test your TA, if it needs lowering still repeat the aerating and acid
Don't let your pH drop to much as the pool water becomes acidic

I would concentrate on clearing the water first. Increasing your chlorine to 10-12ppm will speed this up.
