Postby D-CEE » Wed 18 Jul, 2007 12:19

Woke up this morning to what looked like bubbles floating on the top of water..but when i used the skimmer the just streched and the little bit i did get on skimmer just seemed to disappear...could this be algae? i have never had it before and used algeaside for first time at the suggestion of my brother in-law. Also filter was on all night at first i thought maybe there was air coming out of the inlet..not sure i turned it off
Pool is an intex 18x48 the one with metal poles.

I suppose it's possible that it is tissue-algae, but unlikely in a new chlorine pool. Did you touch it? Was it slimy?

Using your test kit, please post a full set of numbers so we don't have to guess.
