living things in my pool

there are little brown looking wiggly worm looking things in my pool. I have used liquid chloring to get the reading up to no avail.
I also caught 2 rather larger "things" in my pool this morning. It's wider at the front and narrow in back, whitish looking with a white triangle on the back and short legs in front and longer ones in back. It comes up to the surface then back down again.
What could these be??

Everything is gone now. The larger things i found out were backswimmer bugs, the worms, who knows?
Anyway they're all gone!! whew am i happy.
