Our pool in Australia

Postby paulr33 » Sat 06 Jan, 2018 03:04

Hi all,

This is our pool, 1 year old fibreglass drop in shell, saltwater pool with solar heating and lights and concrete paved with bullnose pavers around the edge. The finish is middleton beach shimmer and it has sparkles in the paint on the shell. Pretty easy to maintain so far and the solar heating system is very effective for it, can get it to 29deg C no problems with some sun. Perfect for kids and beers. The pool is 6m x 3.5m and 1.8m at the deepest end. This is about the right size for our backyard, any larger and it causes issues with the landscaping etc.

That looks amazing
Is it enclosed as I can see a glass screen or is it a barrier

yeah in australia we have mandatory pool fences 1.6m high at all sides, they call it a "pool zone" and everything in that zone is rated to pool fence spec, including latches/gates etc.
