Hi guys,
I'm a little bit puzzled with the relationship of my pool (http://www.gre.es/pt/producto/16551/790086-ovalada-grenade-436-x-336-x-119-cm.aspx) and the clorine tabs I'm using (https://www.ctxprofessional.com/fr/produits/chemical-product/chlorine-disinfection/tricloroisocyanuric-acid-1/ctx-370-clorlent-1/).
So, when I put one 250g tab of CTX-370 ClorLent on the skimmer of my Gre Grenade (436 x 336 x 119 cm, 12m3 of water) what happens is that after let's say one day the OTO test shows clorine > 5. The colour test even changes from yellow ("normal") to a orangish colour. Any hint on what is happening? Is my pool "absorbing" the tablet too vigorously? Should I change my clorine input? Thanks, David

Are you saying that the chlorine is to high because a dose of 6ppm wouldn't be wrong
When you are using trichlor and dichlor you are putting cyanuric acid (CYA) in the pool which stabilises the chlorine, however excessive CYA renders your chlorine ineffective and you have to use more
For every 10 ppm Free Chlorine (FC) added by Trichlor, it also increases Cyanuric Acid (CYA) by 6 ppm.
For every 10 ppm FC added by Dichlor, it also increases CYA by 9 ppm.
For every 10 ppm FC added by Cal-Hypo, it also increases Calcium Hardness (CH) by at least 7 ppm

This is a very stupid question but the 250g tab of CTX-370 ClorLent are trichlor or dichlor?
