I currently have a Sta-Rite S810110 DE Filter that is cracked. It has a fiberglass patch that only held up about 4 years. Also the valve is now leaking. I want to replace it with a Sand Filter (I THINK) but I think I'm in way over my head trying to figure out what to buy. I thought it would be simple. Just turn the water over every 8hrs and your all set.......NOT!
Pool is 20x40 rectangle play pool. (24,000 gal. I think)
Pump Sta-Rite P4E6F-152L 1.5hp with 2" couplings (I can't find the GPM on this pump)
Aux Pump
Salt System
Pipe is all 2" I believe.
Can you recommend the right filter for me? I'm forced to be very budget contentious right now.
Thank you,
Mike

Hayward S244S or Pentair TR60? Any one better over the other?
