Hi everyone,
We have an inground saltwater pool (those with a chlorinator). It is still closed but unexpectedly, we have to leave town for five weeks. We are in the upstate of South Carolina. Is it safe to leave the pool closed until we get back in the third week of May? We are worried that the warmer temperatures might result in the generation of algae in the water.
What do you normally do when you leave town for a while? This is only the second year we have this pool and are still a little inexperienced in these things.
We put in a lot of salt before we closed it in November, but I'm not sure if that makes a difference.
I'm worried about opening the pool and leaving it unattended for so long.
Thanks for any help you can give us here.
Carol
