I look after a Pebbletec pool a large top pool with a waterfall into a smaller pool which had to be emptied recently as it had some cracks in it. The Pool was refilled with water from the local water supplier in tankers.
I have balanced the chemicals & the PH is at 7.6. I went to clean it this week and noticed in the bottom pool that there was some crusting & when i scraped it with my nail it was green underneath is this the start of Algae?
Could this be from the water supplier as i have looked after this Pool for 3 years without any Algae problems.
What would be the best course of action to clear this up. The Pool holds 72,000 ltrs of water & i use 3/1 tablets .
Any Suggestions would be Greatly recieved

Did you have a clean up done in btw? Also do you have a filter in place? What type of cartridge do you use? Do a water test and find out the compositions too.

Well i think the life of your pool is about to be over. You must get it inspected with any specialist who deals in above ground pool and get it check properly.
