Aqua rite problems

I have a 4 year old aqua rite salt system. last year the pancake resistor got fried. had someone put new one on and worked for the rest of the season. opened pool last week and no lights come on on the panel. I get digital readouts salt concentration and temp are right but no power light or anything. When i turn the main switch for system and filter on the inspect cell light blinks once or twice and the no flow light will light up for a minute or two and then go off. Thinking its the circuit board? Any one have any ideas? Dealer wants to send out tech at 175.00 plus parts.
