Foam on Pool! Anyone Know Whats the Deal?

I o pened the pool Memorial Day and added about 18 oz of algecide per the bottles instruction for it's size at pool opening. Also added about 6 oz of clarifier. The pool is a salt water with a Zodiac clorinator and I use an D.E filter. The issue I have is when I run the filter the top of the water foams/suds up. I can actually see what looks like foam bubbles coming out the returns entering the pool. I tried to pull the foam to the skimmers with a brush and noticed the foam is filthy. I mean it is bad as it's disturbed, you can see the dirt laying in it. After the filter is off a bit, the water clears up and is as clear as can be. My chemicals are right on. Any suggestions????

The algicide is making the water foam. Stop adding it and the foam will go away within a few days.
