FC correlation to water temp

Postby scuba » Sun 05 Jun, 2011 16:54

Hello, new user here. Our water temp rose from low 80's to 92F here in TX over the last week or so. FC level dropped from 2.5 to 1.0 with below details,

Problem: FC dropped

FC: 1.0
TC: 1.0
pH: 7.8
TA: 100
CH: 260
CYA: do not know

My pool: 30k gal salt water
Pool chemicals:
My pump & filter: Variable speed pump, cartridge filter
Other info: Water temp rose to low 80's to 92F

Salt cell is set to 50%. Planning to add a gal on Muriatic acid and set salt cell to 70%. Question, is the drop in FC correlated to the rise in water temp? Thanks.
