Major problems with my pool. The main valve had to be changed and with the delay has caused major problems. Pool size is 6 x 12 mtrs ( Pan ) I was advised to Floc the system due to clouding , water turning green and advised to floc again with the delay in replacing the main control valve.
I am now left with a pool covered in waste at the bottom ( greeny brown residue ) cloudy water and no balance on the alkalinity or stabilizer . As I have no robot I am Vacuming and Backwashing constantly and need some advice , please.

Gunite pool this size will take a business like approach to maintain properly.
Either hire a professional, or get familiar with the Pool School and Pool Calculator. You need to do some accurate testing, either by yourself, or by a pool store. Otherwise you walking around in circles, throwing money down the drain, getting tired and frustrated.
There is no shortcuts, but it is not a rocket science. Every pool owner has to either understand the chemistry, or spend money on upkeep, hoping that he has someone he can depend on.
