Filter problems

I have a 12 by 24 above ground pool, 1/2 hp motor, DE filter. I replaced all the grids this year and still have fiilth returning to the pool. What is my next option. PLEASE HELP been at this for 2 weeks!!!

Have you checked to make sure the top manifold is in good condition and not cracked or any pieces broken?

i think dbirdy1208 is right you should make a check for and crack or leakage first.
