Well water

Well water
I just filled my above ground pool with water from my well and it was green at first and then it turned a dark chocolate brown. My neighbor told me to put Oxyclean in the water. I did and now it is clear light green. I keep changing the filter, but the color does not change. Help please, what can I do to clear up the water?
